The blinds: i bui
The blinds have the advantage of seeing all the moves before they have to act to turn round in the pre-flop, but have the disadvantage of having to act on first in all subsequent rounds, in addition to having to put money into the pot before the cards are given. Many players on the blind call a raise in the round pre-flop, because they believe they have already invested in that round. However, this idea is wrong because the chips have made with their blinds are sunk costs and should be thought of as part of the pot. The old advice: "do not spend good money after bad money" can be applied in this circumstance. A player in the blinds should make his decisions based on chips that are going to go, not the chip that has already put into the pot. This is a general warning, but if the button is a player we are looking for suspect to steal the dark (because it usually is) probably can increase the range (variety) of hands that we can play to see the raise, but these are considerations and opportunities that may be taken by practicing and developing his own style of play.
