Turin, November 12, 2010. ITN, Infrastructure, Telematics & Navigation was held at the Lingotto in the spaces with a good participation of specialists.
This year I brought my contribution as part of the session: "Question (potential) and demand (implicit) location-aware information: the missing links" coordinated by Franco Vico, Vice President, AMFM GIS Italy.
The title of my speech exemplifies enough clearly the marketing matrix that I wanted to bring in a highly technical, "Geolocation, social networks and web marketing: opportunities and scenery."
The underlying message is summed up in this concept: the level of "physical", is increasingly integrated with the digital and the ability to create, manage, and share geo information through the many tools available today is a still largely untapped potential for exceptional purposes "business" and use planning.
Again, atoms and bits can open new horizons, just knowing how to see.
